Demo Videos for Marketing?  If you thought that demo videos are only used to help explain “how it works” — as in, how a SAAS app works, how a mobile app works, how a website works or how your product works — think again.

A large number of companies are using animated demo videos to help market their services. Demo videos can get your marketing message across in a matter of seconds — a fraction of the time that it would take for a user to read and comprehend an article. Forbes video insight found that nearly 60% of people will watch the video before reading text on the same webpage and three-quarters of executives surveyed said they watched work-related videos on business websites at least once a week. These insights alone are interesting. Even more interesting however were statistics around how those executives behaved after watching videos. About two-thirds visited vendor websites after viewing a vendor video.   More than half searched for more information on the vendor or topic. Furthermore, the likelihood of an executive making a purchase was high after watching vendor videos — especially among the younger demographic.
