More and more, brands are using video to reach customers. Even the traditional photo-only social sharing Instagram introduced the option to upload videos (rather than forcing users to create them from scratch) in early August — a testament to the company’s recognition that users connect with video in a way that is distinctly different than photographs.

Going further, animated demo videos serve a different purpose than traditional video or commercials.

The reason is that an animated video creates a new experience for viewers. It’s more than just sharing your commercials or recycling something that aired on television.

Animated videos allow brands to be transparent while communicating a clear message in a fun, entertaining way. A well-created animated demo video is a compelling piece of communication that is created skillfully, requiring editing, sound-mixing and voice-overs. It allows brands to very meticulously create video content that is designed for their specific audience while also servicing their business’ needs.
